Fireworks are at dusk off the Washington Park Marina!
The Michigan City Summer Festival fireworks will be at dusk Sunday, July 11, capping several days of activities in Washington Park. Fireworks will be launched from the lighthouse pier over Lake Michigan. The show is expected to last 45 minutes.
The fireworks show draws a huge crowd, with many people gathering at the lakefront, while others watch from nearby streets in the North End. EVENT PLANNERS RECOMMEND ARRIVING EARLY!
No fireworks are planned for the Fourth of July in Michigan City; instead, they traditionally occur on a different date as part of the Summer Festival.
